Max was having problems with short-term memory, retention, Focus, reading at a rate comparable to his peers. Three and a half years ago was our first time we were told we needed to investigate issues they were saying at school. Max went to Lee Pesky for two years for academic intervention. This is during second and third grade. They worked on phonetics and memory. It went well for a while, but then I noticed him getting stuck and the work being done didn't really change much for him. We started going to Focus Vision Therapy one year ago and Max has really enjoyed it. The other day he said, “Mom, I don't see blurry anymore.”
