Samantha was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. After high school, she attended Boise State University to pursue an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy. The next twelve years she served as a certified Respiratory Therapist at St. Alphonsus Hospital as well as Columbia West Valley Medical Center. Following her time as a Respiratory Therapist, Samantha decided to open her own business by running an in-home daycare. This allowed her to be able to be home with her two children for the twelve year she ran the business. Who knew the experience from these two career choices would lead her to the job of her dreams.
In April of 2010, Samantha was hired at Focus Vision Therapy Center. She earned her Certification of Optomotric Vison Therapy through the College of Optomestrists in Vision Development in October 2013. Samantha specializs in all areas of vision disorders from convergence insufficiency to traumatic brain injuries. She finds joy in helping patients to improve their visual skills through understanding their visual system and helping patients execute the skills that will improve their vision goals. Understanding that no two patients are alike, even if they have the same diagnosis is what drives Sam in her work as a Vision Therapist. In Samantha's free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and their families.
